BENEFY learning platform
The elearning environment will be created using a learning management system, such as Moodle. The elearning platform will be scalable to access a wide range of fixed and mobile devices and will be tested with the support of partners and partner organizations. This result will provide all those interested in energy efficiency with sufficient knowledge to incorporate the topic into their classes, and be able to use the developed toolkit, but also be able to design their own activities.
The modules will be able to be used autonomously by teachers, thus ensuring that the knowledge is transferable beyond the project partners and associates. The elearning platform will be accessible in all partner languages to ensure wide dissemination and ease of use in Europe.
The second result will be teacher oriented and will consist of the following activities:
- Generation of a Flipbook that will consist of integrating all the resources generated in WP1 into an online but also downloadable multimedia document for easy access and use by teachers.
- Open elearning platform
Design and development of a VET teacher course with four learning modules on energy efficiency. The modules will include features to actively engage participants in the learning process as well as gamification elements for later competent use with students. As an initial indication, the following topic areas will be addressed:
- What does energy efficiency mean?
- Why integrate it in my classroom?
- What are the strategies/methods for integrating energy efficiency into VET classes?
- Designing activities for my class.
