Afyonkarahisar Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Afyon-MTAL)

Afyonkarahisar Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Afyon MTAL) is a vocational and technical high school which offers numerous vocational fields with important branches for both industry and business sectors. Our school has been the oldest and biggest school in the region and has given direction to the vocational education in the region since 1943. For this reason our school is the name of vocational education in its region and leading the other institutions like schools employment organization and industrial sectors in vocational education. Vocational education -at the level of high school- is given to over 1000 students between the age 14-19 in the school. A total of 117 personnel are working, 100 of who are education personnel. The departments of our school are: *Machine Technology *Electricity – Electronics Technology *Motor Vehicles Technology *Informatics and Computer Technology * Furniture and Interior Design Technology *Metal Technology. In addition, "job acquisition education" is given to unemployed or disadvantaged people between the age 15- 60. In order to carry out the vocational education in our school, a principal, seven vice-principal, 50 technical teachers and 42 general school subjects teachers work. A team consisted of a vice-principal, two technical teachers and an English language teacher work in harmony for EU Projects. The school has participated in many EU Projects as coordinator organisation or partner organisation so far. The main objective of our school is to educate and train students in a qualified education, provide them to see their skills and help them in the process of finding a job. Since the 2014, "ISO 9001 Quality System in Education" has been carried out in our school.
